Changing the expense type changes the exchange rate

Question
When changing the expense type of an existing expense, sometimes a warning pop ups saying that the currency has been changed, and then the exchange rate is reset.

Answer
When the value of some fields of an expense is changed, e.g. the expense type or category, Changepoint determines the current exchange rate and applies it to the expense.

The message that is triggered (currency has changed) is misleading, because it also pops up when the currency hasn't changed, it could be another field, like the expense type/category in this example.

It is however by design that the exchange rate is set to the currently system defined exchange rate. If the user had previously entered a different rate, it will be overwritten by the current rate.
