Timeout error when saving a billing office after adding or updating a shared UDF v2010

Symptoms

In billing office page, upon creating a new shared UDF or updating an existing one, following error occurs:

Error/warning messages
Server Error in / Application
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.


Reason

Resolution

Increase the CommandTimeOut in System Manager web.config file, from 30 to 300 seconds.
