No Registration Key found error logged by CPEffectiveDates.exe

Symptoms
CPEffectiveDates.exe fails with errors. Following errors are found in Changepoint Event log, in the order of occurrence.
 
Error/warning messages
Invalid object name "Registration"

No Registration Key found

Reason
The command line argument of the SQL job is pointing to the "msdb" database, which is not a Changepoint database therefore the "Registration" table is not found.

Resolution

Correct the command line argument, i.e. replace msdb with the Changepoint database name.
