Why changes are not saved when selecting a new approver?

 

Answer
If you change the time or expense approver to a resource who has delegated their approval rights, then the name of the delegate approver is displayed in the field after the page is refreshed.

If the delegate approver is the same resource as the previous approver that you were trying to change, then it may appear as if the approver was not changed. However, the previous approver name will be restored after the delegated approval rights are taken back.
