Cannot edit assignment percent complete field for some task assignments

SYMPTOMS

For some resources the percent complete field in the project worksheet shows 100% and this needs to be changed. However, even after locking the task, the field remains disabled. Interestingly, for other resources on the same task, the field can be edited.

RESOLUTION

This is related to the field 'status not required' on the task assignment. When this field is set, Changepoint automatically calculates a percentage and the field is disabled and cannot be modified by the user. In case this field needs to be modified by the project manager, please add the field 'status not required' into the project worksheet view and then disable it for the assignment where the percentage needs to be changed.
