The field [field name] is required message

Question
When trying to enter a value in a grid view, such as the Non-labor items list in the Candidate dialog, the message "The field [field name] is required" appears referencing a column that is not visible in the grid view.

Answer
A mandatory field is configured as hidden in Changepoint Administration > Metadata.

If the option "Field is required and the user must enter data" is selected, then make sure that the "Field is hidden from the user" is not selected.
