How to edit time in the timesheet when the cells are locked and cannot be edited?

Symptoms
When scrolling into the past in the time sheet, after a certain amount of days, the cells are not editable anymore. The total hours/days field is shown in red for these not editable days.

Answer
When the total of a day is displayed in red, this means that the day is beyond the payroll lag configured for the resource. The cells for this day are locked in the timesheet and can no longer be edited.

Resolution
To increase the payroll lag (period how long time can be edited in the past), the resource record needs to be edited. Values up to 32000 days are allowed.

The field 'pay schedule' also plays a role. To determine if a day in the time sheet is editable or not, Changepoint substracts the payroll lag from the current date. This results in a certain day and the period (i.e. pay schedule, e;g. week/month) this day is in, is the first one editable. Any day before this period will be beyond the payroll lag and not be editable.
