How to set a default fiscal period as the time period in RMW? (2012 SP2)

Project Worksheet (PW) and Resource Management Worksheet (RMW) referenced in this article are based on Silverlight technology and are no longer available as of Changepoint 2020

Question:
When RMW opens the daily period is displayed by default, and we have to select "Weekly" to switch to weekly view. Is there any way to set the weekly view as the default instead of daily?

Answer:
1- Go to “Manage Views” and select your preferred view
2- Set it as default, and then go to “Thresholds” tab
3- Select “Fiscal Periods” in “Time Periods” list; the “Fiscal periods” list will appear
4- Select “Weekly” in the list, then save the changes
