Report Scheduler is giving an error Pre-rendering report time-out

SYMPTOMS:
The scheduled report using the advanced option gets this error; therefore, the services never deliver the report by email.

ERROR/WARNING MESSAGES:
1. Pre-render error at Status
2. Pre-rendering report time-out at View Report/Log

REASON:
Changepoint Report Prerender Service requires the additional configurations when the enterprise website is configured as the SSL website with anonymous access option. This additional configuration is not included in Installation Guide documentation.


RESOLUTION:
Configure the server, where the services were installed, as below.
1. Install the Changepoint Report Scheduler and Changepoint Prerender services using the Administrator account.
2. The Changepoint Prerender service is then changed to use Administrator as log on as (default is local system)
3. Uncheck the "Check for server certification revocation" box on Advanced tab from Internet Options of Internet Explore.
4. Edit \Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file to map the IP of the site to the URL
Example: 12.34.56.78 EnterChangepointURL.com

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This resolution is only applicable if the enterprise website is configured as the SSL website with anonymous access option and the enterprise website is configured in the Report Prerender Service URL located within System Manager’s server integration page.
