V2012 Is it possible to change the subject field default value when sending an email from a request profile?

QUESTION

When a Changepoint user sends a mail from a request, the subject field is prepopulated with a text:

Update from Changepoint request ABC-2017-01234   (where the last word is the request number).

Is it possible to change this text? More specifically, a # character should be inserted in front of the request number.

 

 


RESOLUTION

To do so, in system management - user interface - page content strings, please search for the ID 60599. It reads:

Update from Changepoint request ÿxÿ   (where the last part is a placeholder for the request number).

This text can be changed as needed, e.g. to insert the # character:

Update from Changepoint request #ÿxÿ
