Request time is sent to the wrong approver

Symptoms
Request time is sent to the wrong approver, it's not the one configured in the engagement.

 


 

Answer

  1. If it is the primary approver that is submitting time himself, this will go to the secondary approver for approval.
  2. Please check for any delegations that might have been done. In case of multiple approval delegation, the initial approver needs to un-delegate in order to revert back to the initial situation.
  3. You might change the engagement time approvers to a different value, save, and then change them back. After a while (a job is involved) the approver will be recomputed according to the configuration.
