How to enable batch calendar synchronization in the Outlook plugin?

Symptoms

Having installed the Outlook plugin, the button for the batch calendar synchronization is disabled. How can it be enabled?


Resolution

1 - Make sure the user has the feature 'Enable Calendar Synchronization' (CCS)
2 - Check the user preferences for calendar synchronization and make sure the option is set to 'Outlook' and not 'Exchange'.
