By default, is not possible to save a Cognos report as a file. If the "Save" option is selected, then when the scheduled report is executed, Cognos saves a report output version to "My folders."
However, you can change the location where the output is saved. In Cognos 11:
- Switch to the classic (Cognos 10 style) administration to configure the schedule.
- In the delivery options, click "Edit the save options...".
- Click "Select another location ..." to choose the destination folder.
