Active export schedules are not being processed

Symptoms

An export that is scheduled to run every X minutes or every X hours is not being processed anymore. It is however still marked as active.


Reason

Esp. with exports that are scheduled frequently (e.g. every 10 minutes) it can happen that an export is skipped, e.g. due to a system-, network- or performance-issue. In that case, the next run date is in the past and then the schedule is not processed anymore.

Resolution

Manually edit the schedule in system management and choose a next run date in the future.

Additional Notes

Starting CP2017 SP2 18.02.121.000 and CP2020 January 2021 Release 19.00.136.000, active export schedules will always be processed, even if for some reason the next run date has ended up in the past.
