Actions button is gone

Symptoms

On the "Project Initiation Request" we have a number of code fields. When trying to edit (add/delete) values for the selection on CodeField46. the "action" button does not appear. This is not an issue with any of the other code fields that we see.


Reason

Code field inherits its configuration from another Code Field.


 

Resolution

The issue with the actions menu not present on a specific Field Code or requests is because it is linked/inherits is definitions from a different Field Code.


Log into System manager and go to User Interface – Configurable Field Settings. Locate the code that does not display the Action Menu

. Check the field properties and see if it inherits its configuration from a different Code field.

Make changes to source Code Field to apply changes to the destination Code Field.
