V2012 Cognos Report Studio is slow

SYMPTOMS

For one particular report, Cognos Report Studio is very slow.

 

RESOLUTION

Please check the complexity of the report. In one case, a report had more than 30 queries, and most of them where not in use. Deleting the unused queries improved the performance of Report Studio.
