Why is the resource cost rate not updated automatically in the budget?

The resource cost rate is populated automatically when you insert a line into the Services table. You can use the "Copy from > Task assignments" option from the right-click menu in the services section.

Once the rate is in the budget, however, it is not refreshed automatically. To update the rate in the budget after the resource cost rate is modified, you must copy from the task assignments again.
