Default value for configurable fields on a candidate

Question
When we create a new candidate, on the configurable fields tab, we have 3 fiscal years worth of possible field values in my system and they all appear. We would like to know how to have only the choices belonging to the current fiscal year?
 

Answer
Default value was not selected in system manager.

Resolution
From System Manager:

1. Click User Interface
2. Click Configurable Field Values
3. From Configurable Field Values, from Level: select System
4. Category: choose candidates
5. Code Type: Choose "11-01 Fiscal Year/OpportunityCode27" (or whatever the relevant fieldname ist)
6. From Default Value: Select "2018" (or whatever the current yeat is) click save Icon beside the box.
7. Log out of System Manager.
8. Log in to Enterprise and create new candidate and in the configurable fields tab confirm if the default settings are correct. 

This automatically preselects the choice for the current year for new candidates.
