Error CM-REQ-4248 when exporting the entire Cognos content store

Symptoms

When using the Deployment tool in Cognos Connection to export the entire content store, the following error message appears:

CM-REQ-4248 Unable to access the account "CAMID(Changepoint:...)" in an external security system


Reason

Either the user does not exist in the external namespace or the user performing the export does not have administrative rights for all the namespaces.

Resolution

Make sure the person performing the export has Administrator privileges.
