Cannot find the name (resource, project, customer, etc.) in an entity-based configurable field

If the a particular value does not appear for an entity-based configurable field, check the  configuration of the field in Changepoint Administration > User Interface > Configurable Fields Settings.

In the Entity-Based Settings section, verify if the "Enable access check for search" option is selected. When this option is selected, only the entity records that the user has access to will appear in the list of values for the configurable field.

To resolve this issue, you can do either of the following:

  • grant the user access to the particular entity record
  • if all users require access to all entities, clear the "Enable access check for search" check box
