QUESTION:
The engagement configurable fields do not appear to be available within a data collection. How to access an Engagement configurable field within Report Designer to add as a field to a design filter? 

ANSWER:
The engagement configurable fields are not available in report designer. Use a custom data provider or an advanced field which selects from the database. Advanced field can only be used if the report is not grouped.
