Unable to delete projects added to a portfolio

You cannot delete a project has been added to a portfolio based on filter criteria (for example, Active projects), even after the project has become inactive, unless the portfolio has been configured to automatically remove items that no longer match the filter criteria.

A daily portfolio system update removes the projects that no longer match the filter criteria. Therefore you may have to wait a day to delete a project that no longer matches the filter criteria.
