How to change the default method of tax calculation for engagements?

It is not possible to change the default method of tax calculation of "Calculate tax on each item separately" for new engagements.

However, you can create an email notification based on an SQL rule to remind the engagement manager to change the method of tax calculation if they create an engagement with the option is set to "Calculate tax on each item separately."

Set up the email notification to be sent when the field TaxOnSum in the Engagement table is set to 0. Remind the user to change the method to "Calculate tax on total amount of items."
