Removing the default header and footer from printed reports (CP 2010)

QUESTION:
We are unable to stop the headers and footers on reports that were printed from some custom reports. There is no option to suppress this information. We are able to print with a Landscape orientation on Legal size paper but the headers and footers are in a larger font. Is there a setting somewhere to change these options?

ANSWER
User can set up report headers and footers for each report, or the report could just be using the default IE headers and footers which can be removed via IE options, through the following steps:

1.Select File >> Page setup >> Delete the text typed in the Header and Footer text box
2.Click on OK. Now the document can be printed without header and footer
