When setting up a workflow for resource request is it mandatory to use the WFCALC_Approve or WFCALC_Assign stored procedures?

 

Answer
Resource Request Workflow has to include at least one of WFCALC_Assign or WFCALC_Approve:

WFCALC_Assign – Performs a resource leveling check. If resource leveling is passed, it populates the resource into the project team entry. Should be used for Project team level resource requests.


WFCALC_Approve – Performs a resource leveling check. If resource leveling is passed, it populates the resource into the task assignment, project team and projected resource record. Should be used for Engagement and Task level Resource requests.
