Cognos service does not start after changing Changepoint database password

Error in Changepoint user interface:

Cognos is currently unavailable. Contact your system administrator for assistance

Event log messages:

CM-REQ-4342 An error occurred with the client.

Cognos Sever log:

CM-SYS-5003 Content Manager is unable to connect to the content store. Verify that the database connection properties in the configuration tool are correct and that when you test the connection, the test is successful. Cause: Failed Logon:com.jnetdirect.jsql.JSQLException: TCP/IP connection failed to host:ETSST007 com.jnetdirect.jsql.JSQLException: Login failed for user 'CPSQLUser'. 


The Changepoint database password was not changed in all places where the password in required for Cognos. For complete information, see the Changepoint Installation Guide.
