Symptoms
Resource Demand Job fails at step 8 (Replace past with actuals).
Error/warning messages
Executed as user: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. Arithmetic overflow error converting numeric to data type numeric. [SQLSTATE 22003] (Error 8115) The statement has been terminated. [SQLSTATE 01000] (Error 3621). The step failed.
Reason
A data issue is causing the job to fail.
Resolution
Go to the BudgetServices table and see if there are any entries in there. If so, find the project that the budget in this entry applies to and go in and edit the budget. Change the budget setting Replace Past Fiscal Periods with Actuals, or recreate the budget by deleting it and creating a new one.
Additional Notes
The arithmetic overflow error for this step in the job can also be caused by having a planned finish date in a project to be more than 10 years from the start date. If this is the case, change the start date to be less than ten years.
