Images in Cognos not printing or showing up (CP2012 SP1)

QUESTION:

Cognos images are not showing up in the report that is. We had the same issue while ago which was resolved by following the tech note below: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docvie...id=swg21339916 Now, the images are showing up in the report studio just fine. They do not appear on the report embedded into the engagement profile page, PDF format and email.


ANSWER:

The issue with images not appearing on CP embedded report and PDF extract, was related to the "size and overflow" settings set on the images.  Modify image setting (i.e. using % instead of pixel or adjust the pixel size). After size was adjusted (from 18 pixels to 30) and the images appeared properly on the embedded report and the PDF extract.

For the images that do not appear on the emailed report, it is not a Cognos issue. It is possibly the MS outlook issue that blocks the images. Customer should investigate on their own outlook setting/configuration.
