Cannot reduce resource request duration(CP2014)

QUESTION

It is not possible to reduce the duration of a resource request. When trying, an error message pops up.

RESOLUTION

Please check if there are already task assignments that are covered by the resource request. E.g. if there are task assignments for the resource till the end of the year, it is not possible to have the resource request/project team ending earlier.
