Is it possible to prevent users from making time adjustments (negative time entries)

 

Answer
A resource cannot be prevented from entering negative time entries. When negative time entries show up either in the SQL database or in some form of time tracking report, this is not actually because a resource entered a negative time value but actually because they made an adjustment to their time sheet.

In order to prevent this from occurring, remove the resource's ability to make time adjustments to their timesheet.
To do this: Remove Create Time Adjustments from user's security access by going to user setup - Security Access - Create Time Adjustments). Uncheck 'Create Time Adjustments' from the user's security access.
