Are searches in Changepoint Case Sensitive?

Question

If we have two Account IDs that are the same except for the case of one letter.  Are the searches for Accounts and Opportunities case sensitive and w ould e.g. the SFDC connector consider these to be two different accounts?

Example:

· 12345678A

· 12345678a


Answer

No, Changepoint is not case-sensitive. The SFDC connector will not consider the IDs to be different, therefore the query would return multiple records because they have the same ID.
