Cognos prompt does not show all values

Symptoms

A Cognos prompt has been set up to show values, for example, ContractType and ContractTypeCode. These are retrieved using a dedicated query on the Engagement/Contract query subject.

However the prompt does not pick up all contract types used in all engagements/contracts.

Resolution

In the query that the prompt is based on, make sure that "Auto group & summarize" is set to YES.
