Task dependency overrides resource allocation (CP2010 SP2)

My project has all tasks with loading method "3 manual distribute - no update". When I set Task dependency between two tasks, the resource allocation is automatically distributed for the successor task. Why ?


This behaviour is by design. When a task dependency is set, the dates are shifted and the resource allocation is automatically distributed. The manual allocation is no longer valid therefore removed.
