Why project time cannot be entered within the payroll lag?

 

Answer
If the date is within the payroll lag, then it is most likely in a closed period. To allow users to enter time during closed periods, you can give users the "Process Records in Closed Periods" security feature.

Alternatively, time can be entered on the user's behalf by a user who has the Central Time security feature and the "Process Records in Closed Periods" security feature.
