QUESTION

What are the rules for access control for resource request updates?

ANSWER

  • If the user is part of the workflow state access participant other then "Resource Request Initiator" participant (RI), then user has full edit access.
  • else, if the user is the resource request initiator and if the participant "Resource Request Initiator" is in the workflow state access list, the user can edit only fields "Status" and "Comments"
  • else, the user has no edit access on the General tab and all RR fields will be disabled.
  • else if no access restrictions are defined, everyone has full access
