Can emails be sent from a test environment that is hosted by Changepoint?

By default, email integration is disabled for test environments that are hosted by Changepoint. 

If you would like to enable email integration, you can submit a support request.

Please note the following:

  • When submitting a support request, be sure to specify whether you want email integration enabled for emails from Changepoint or for emails from Cognos (for example, for scheduled reports), or both.
  • Please inform users that they might receive emails from the test system. These emails can be ignored by most users, except those taking part in the testing activities.
  • To minimize the number of emails that are sent from the test environment, review your Cognos report schedules and email templates in the test system and disable everything that is not required for your current tests.
