How to change the startdate of the contract?

Question
The field seems grey and disabled. Do we have to delete the engagement and recreate this engagement or there is a way to change the starting date another way?
 


 

Reason
The field in System Manager under metadata was set to “Field is not editable once the initial value has been saved”.

 

Resolution
In System Manager under Metadata, select the field in questions and uncheck the field “Field is not editable once the initial value has been saved”

Note:
This setting 'Field is not editable once the initial value has been saved' can be applied to many fields in Changepoint, the contract start date is just an example.
