Employee Issue with patched IE 11 environment (2012)

SYMPTOMS:
I have one employee (so far) having issues with our patched environment:

1. A lot of the buttons/links don’t work in IE 11.

For example:
a. I can display my Preferences and type in changes, but I can’t save them because the Save button/link doesn’t respond.
b. On the “links” bar (the bar below the top menu bar), I can switch between showing General and Favorites by clicking on the star icon, but clicking on the favorite or selecting an option from the General menu results in nothing happening. In fact, most of the buttons or links don’t do anything.

REASON:
IE11 was running in Administrator mode


RESOLUTION:
Do not start IE11 in Administrator mode.
