Symptoms
The Changepoint data source connection has been configured during the installation of Changepoint and Cognos and it is visible in the administration console.
However, Changepoint data source connection does not appear in data server connections in the new Analytics console.
Reason
Data source connections and data server connections are different objects. By default, the Changepoint data source connection does not appear in the data server connections list.
Resolution
To make the data source connection available in the data server connections list, you must enable "Allow web-based modelling" in the data source connection properties. See the following note from IBM:
