For some users, reports rendering as PDF open as blank (2012)

SYMPTOMS

Some users frequently only get a blank page when viewing a Cognos report that is rendered in PDF format by default.

 


RESOLUTION

This is a PDF view issue and not a Changepoint problem. Please follow the following steps to fix this issue:

  • Upgrade Adobe PDF viewer to the latest version
  • In IE Tools - internet options - advanced options, select the option 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk'
