Knowledge attachment upload fails

SYMPTOMS
Documents <40 MB fail to upload even if the system is set to 40 MB limit in system manager.

ERROR/WARNING MESSAGES
The upload times out or hangs.

RESOLUTION
Perform the following setting on the IIS Server :

1. On the IIS Server >> IIS Server Manager >> Request Filtering icon >> Web.config >> Edit feature setting >> change MaxAllowedContentLength= 41600000 and then reset IIS.

Also, check the following patch (c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\urlscan) for the urlscan.ini file and if exists, then change the MaxAllowedContentLength= 41600000
