New workflow for old requests

QUESTION
We are creating a newer automated workflow and want to know how to transition the old workflow requests over and be in the same states they are sitting in.

 


 

ANSWER

The old process workflow that is currently running would have to complete before the new workflow takes effect.
One other way is to reset the workflow state in System Manager, but that would mean resetting it for every affected request.
