Error when clicking on Cognos Report icon

SYMPTOMS:
When launching report design tool from a Cognos report portlet in Enterprise receive an error

ERROR/WARNING MESSAGES:
DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall security Rejection. Your request was rejected by the security firewall.

REASON:
Cognos Firewall was not configured to allow requests to come from Enterprise

RESOLUTION:
Open Cognos configuration on each environment and ensure that the Cognos Application Firewall (CAF) enablement is consistent for all servers/installation. That is, all servers have CAF enabled or all servers have CAF disabled.

Steps:Repeat the following on all servers:

1. Open Cognos Configuration.

2. Expand to Security, Cognos Application Firewall: 'Enable CAF validation' and ensure the setting TRUE/FALSE is consistent across all configurations.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Cognos Application Firewall (CAF) is a requirement, and should not be disabled.

The Enterprise URL needs to be placed into the CAF configuration.
