Problem Statement:

User is getting error 'Format of the initialization string.......' while upgrading from CP v2012 to v2022.

Proposed Solution:

There can be a possibility of special characters in User's current ChangePoint SA password, which system isn't accepting.

We would request Customer to re-try changing their password (without special characters and with reasonable length) and redo the installation/upgrade.
