Changepoint_CPFullText appears to be failing

What would cause the CPFullText job not to update the fulltext search index when run on schedule (after the job runs, newly-added knowledge items do not appear in search results) but to update the index when run manually twice the next day?

There is no error message when the scheduled job runs and fails.


The job scheduler kicks off the job correctly, but if there is a heavy load on the Database server then the Microsoft SP may fail silently (i.e., with no log message, and no error returned to the scheduled job).

Solution: Reschedule the job.
