ISSUE:

We are getting reports of users trying to run Cognos reports, and getting an error message . Users have reported using multiple browsers, and trying to reboot their PC as well. Please advise on what needs to be fixed.

ERROR:

CM-REQ-4203

The report owner's credentials could not be authenticated.

REASON:

The previous admin who left the company was owner of the report.


RESOLUTION:

Login in as cpadmin and transfer the ownership of the report to me (cpadmin).

This can be done in Cognos Connection, in the properties of the report
