How to delete support items?

Question
There are some support items that have been created accidentally and we need to remove them. There does not seem to be a delete button anywhere on support items. How can these support items be deleted?

 


 

Answer 
Here are the steps to delete a Support Item:
1. From the reports, select the “Support Desk Reports” folder
2. Select a report related to support items (or Knowledge Base articles).
3. Expand the report type to view the list of individual support items
4. Click the item title to open the support item profile
5. Go to Actions menu>>Edit
6. When the edit Support Item dialogue box opens, click on Delete
7. Click OK to confirm
