V2012 In system management report setup, the option to synchronize Cognos reports is missing

SYMPTOMS

A user with all features (so it's not an authorization issue) doesn't see the menu option to synchronize Cognos reports in the report setup screen. Cognos is enabled and working fine on that environment.

 


RESOLUTION

This can be related to AppFabric caching. Please clear all caches using the page <myChangepointURL>/flushcache.aspx and also verify the AppFabric configuration in System Manager web.config.
