Time approval when no approvers are configured

Question
A resource doesn't have a time approver set up in the resource profile. The resource submits time for a task where there is no approver set up for the project and no approver set up for the engagement. What happens to the time that is submitted?

 

 

Answer
In such a case the time will be auto-approved. As soon as the resource submits the time sheet, the time records not having any approver set up move to the status 'approved'.
