Cannot use Cognos after backup/restore of Changepoint and ContentStore database

Symptoms

We have created a backup of the Changepoint Prod and ContentStore Prod databases. They were then restored in another environment.

When accessing Cognos, there is an error CM-REQ-4342, or the Cognos menu entry doesn't appear at all.


Reason

In System Management - Server Integration, the Cognos URL was still pointing to the Prod environment. This was not reachable from the test environment.

Resolution

Fill in the correct URL for Cognos test environment in server integration.
